    James leads the workshop and is the driving force behind Grizzly Custom Vans.

    With more than 20 years in the motor trade, he has completed hundreds of campervan conversions across VW Transporters, Vauxhall Vivaros and bespoke custom builds.

    His experience covers every stage of the conversion process, from vehicle preparation and layout planning through to structural work, fitting and final finishing.

    James is passionate about building campervans that are practical to use, reliable to own and built to last.

    Since leaving school, Sam has been building campervans and has developed a genuine passion for the craft.

    He takes pride in every stage of a build — from early layout ideas and preparation through to the final fit-out and handover. His careful attention to detail helps ensure every specialist conversion leaves the workshop finished to a high standard.

    When he is not building vans, Sam enjoys travel, outdoor adventures and making the most of the sunshine.
