Murphy – One of a Kind, Built Without Compromise

Murphy is certainly a camper that makes a statement – and we absolutely love it! Joe brought Murphy to us all the way from Ireland, which meant the planning process for this conversion looked a little different. We had plenty of online planning meetings, discussing ideas, specifications, layouts and those all-important finishing touches to make sure every detail was perfected before the build began. The result? A truly one-of-a-kind campervan, built around Joe and finished with some bold and seriously gorgeous colour choices.

A Colour Combination That Just Works

Joe certainly wasn't afraid of colour – and we're so glad he trusted his vision! For the interior, Joe chose our new 2026 Stone carpet lining, which works beautifully alongside the striking Petrol custom cabinetry. The combination gives Murphy a modern, warm and completely individual finish. The bespoke cabinets were designed specifically for the van and feature a sleek undermount sink with freestanding tap, induction hob and beautiful solid oak worktop. An oak tambour door adds another natural detail to the cabinetry while providing practical and easy-to-access storage. It's a colour combination that shouldn't be underestimated – the Stone, Petrol and Oak tones complement each other perfectly.

Off-Grid Power with Clayton & Savvy Van

Murphy was designed with adventures in mind, so Joe opted for a premium Clayton off-grid electrical system, giving him the freedom and flexibility to travel without always relying on campsite electric hook-up. The system works alongside the sleek Savvy Van control system, providing a modern and easy way to manage Murphy's onboard electrics and lighting. It's a seriously smart setup, combining powerful off-grid capability with simple, intuitive controls – exactly what you want when you're away enjoying the van. We also installed upgraded speakers to the rear, making sure the sound system is just as impressive when relaxing in the camper as it is up front. For added practicality when travelling, Murphy features a Bullfinch external shower point, perfect for adventures, muddy boots and life on the road. The electric hook-up has also been cleverly hidden, helping to maintain the clean and streamlined exterior of the van.

Upgraded Mobiframe Floor & Bed System

Joe opted for the upgraded Mobiframe floor and three-seater bed system, giving Murphy incredible flexibility inside. The rail system allows the bed to be repositioned depending on how the van is being used, while the integrated drawer system underneath the bed provides fantastic additional storage without compromising on floor space. To complete the interior, both the cab seats and Mobiframe bed were finished in real leather upholstery, adding a luxurious feel and tying the whole conversion together beautifully.

The Stealth Roof – You'd Almost Miss It!

Now, we have to talk about Murphy's pop-top…Joe chose to invest in a super sleek Stealth pop-top roof, and wow – what a finish! Designed to sit incredibly discreetly against the van, the Stealth roof maintains Murphy's streamlined exterior and gives very little away that there's a pop-top hiding up there. It's certainly an investment, but for anyone wanting a smart, subtle finish, it looks absolutely incredible.

Those Finishing Touches

No Grizzly build is complete without those final details that bring the whole conversion together. Murphy was fitted with a gorgeous set of Vanshades throughout, providing privacy and practicality while adding a clean, premium finish around the windows. With the huge choice of colours available, the shades complement Murphy's bold interior perfectly.

Finally, a Fiamma wind-out awning was fitted, providing additional shade and shelter when parked up and creating the perfect outdoor space to sit back and enjoy those adventures.
